Once upon a time, there was a girl who graduated with high grades from the Faculty of Applied Arts, specialized in textile printing. After graduation, she received a job opportunity to work as a costume designer at the Opera House.
Every day, she went to work discovering that there was a huge gap between her field of specialization and the tasks assigned to her at work. Gradually, she started to feel that she was going around in circles and that she was not achieving anything. Inside her, a voice was persistently screaming “you are in the wrong place”. Therefore, she decides to further her studies and accordingly joined the MA program at her college. As a last attempt to create a meeting ground between her field of specialization and work, she decided to choose Opera “Aida” as her case study in her MA thesis. After five years of diligent studying, she obtained her master’s degree which was highly praised by her supervisors and committee members. Yet, despite all this hard work and effort, the thesis ended up on the dusty shelves of the university library without anyone benefiting from its research findings and recommendations. And again, the voice inside told her “you are in the wrong place”… She was missing her only passion – designing. That’s why she decided to work part-time at the Graphic Department of the Opera House. Yet again, she felt that she was going around in circles, feeling trapped in a life she hated so much.

Then one day, and after eight years, she decided to break free from all these chains that have been pulling her back. She took a leave from work for one year and started her own project “PLAY Printing”. Strangely, for the first time, the voice inside her becomes silent. She discovered that textile designing and printing is her real passion. Being far from monotonous, it filled her life with small details, beauty, and the desire to reach perfection. The circle of her clients got bigger and bigger growing beyond her family and friends. Although, the whole world has suffered from the complete lockdown due to Covid-19, yet digital marketing has witnessed unprecedented growth globally. That is why she felt the urge to study and get better acquainted with this new field to be able to market and sell her products successfully.

Because of that, she did not hesitate to apply for the Udacity program when she first saw its post on Facebook. She finished the registration process and waited.

Until finally, her phone rang one day. On the phone was a person who told her that she was accepted into the program and that she can start immediately. She was full of enthusiasm. She knows that once she has finished the program she is going to be able to market her products without the need of a specialized marketing agency or expert in this field. Her project will witness a significant breakthrough in the world of digital marketing.
